About Us
In 2025, my life took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. After careful consideration, I chose to undergo the RALP (robotic-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy) procedure in February of that year.
Looking back, I realized that my long-standing commitment to physical wellness particularly as an avid Pickleball player and Tai Chi practitioner had unknowingly prepared me for the challenge ahead.
OUR MISSION
Why The BrightPath Foundation
The BrightPath Foundation is committed to reducing prostate cancer disparities by activating a wellness ecosystem that empowers individuals through movement, education, and community engagement. At the center of this approach is the BrightPath 3-Tier Wellness Architecture, a structured model designed to promote sustainable lifestyle habits that support long-term health and recovery.
Tier 1 Signature Programs, including Pickleball and Tai Chi clinics, provide highly visible community entry points that encourage movement and social connection. Tier 2 Partner Wellness Activities expand participation through activities such as brisk walking, strength training, cycling, and yoga offered in collaboration with community partners. Supporting these programs is Tier 3 Foundational Health & Lifestyle, which emphasizes nutrition, sleep, inflammation awareness, and health education.
Together, this integrated framework helps individuals build healthier lifestyles across the prostate cancer journey from awareness to recovery to thriving.
We are in this wellness journey together.
